| Americana Workshop is just south of the village of Kennebunkport, Maine on Route 1. The shop is full of painted cupboards, farm tables, dry sinks, country Windsor chairs, and Johnson Benchworks sofas and stuffed arm chairs. There is a good selection of smalls including sap buckets, stoneware, baskets, pewter and textiles. There are a wide variety of decoys and hand-carved animals. There are authenic and reproduction signs, illustrated period documents and lighting fixtures (Lt. Moses Willard chandeliers). |
